These terms apply to Foothold, run by Sebastian William Clark. By using Foothold you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@getafoothold.ai.

YouTube

Foothold uses YouTube API Services. By using Foothold, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Videos belong to their creators and play in YouTube's own player; Foothold doesn't host, download or change them. Watching is always free: Pro pays only for Foothold's own features.

What Foothold gives you

• Match scores are Foothold's own AI estimate of how well a lesson fits your goal. They aren't YouTube data, and they can be wrong. So can AI-written summaries and check-ins.
• A certificate shows that you marked every lesson in a path as watched. It isn't an accredited qualification.
• We may change or stop features. We'll tell you before any change that affects what you pay.

Your account

• You need to be 16 or over. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
• What you add (goals, files, notes) stays yours. You let us process it only to run Foothold for you, as the Privacy Policy describes.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.

Pro

Pro is a monthly subscription for Foothold's own features, such as more paths, more searches, notes and check-ins. You can cancel at any time from your Account page; access continues to the end of the month you've paid for.

Fair use

Don't misuse Foothold: no scraping, no automated use, no trying to reach other people's data, and nothing unlawful in what you upload. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

Foothold is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited, such as your rights as a consumer.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
